GAZA, Oct. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the
Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), claimed responsibility on Monday for
launching one rocket at an Israeli carrier in the southern Gaza strip town of
Khan Yunis.
Al Qassam said in a leaflet that its militants fired on Monday morning
one rocket at an Israeli tank and exploded a roadside bomb on an Israeli
bulldozer at al Namsawi neighborhood in the town.
The two operations certainly killed and injured Israeli soldiers, said the
leaflet.
Meanwhile, Israeli army radio denied that Israeli soldiers were killed in
the attacks, adding that two soldiers were injured, one in serious conditions
and the other in moderate state.
The radio added that two rockets were fired at the southern Israeli town of
Sederot, close to the borders with the Gaza Strip, saying that the two rockets
fell in an open area, causing no injuries. Enditem
