Al Qassam attacks Israeli vehicles in southern Gaza

    GAZA, Oct. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), claimed responsibility on Monday for launching one rocket at an Israeli carrier in the southern Gaza strip town of Khan Yunis.

    Al Qassam said in a leaflet that its militants fired on Monday morning one rocket at an Israeli tank and exploded a roadside bomb on an Israeli bulldozer at al Namsawi neighborhood in the town.

    The two operations certainly killed and injured Israeli soldiers, said the leaflet.

    Meanwhile, Israeli army radio denied that Israeli soldiers were killed in the attacks, adding that two soldiers were injured, one in serious conditions and the other in moderate state.

    The radio added that two rockets were fired at the southern Israeli town of Sederot, close to the borders with the Gaza Strip, saying that the two rockets fell in an open area, causing no injuries. Enditem
