    BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- US Secretary of State Colin Powellis expected to have an in-depth exchange of views with Chinese leaders here Monday.

    Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao will meet with him. Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing will hold talks with him.

    The two sides will focus on Sino-US relations and internationalissues of common concern, including the nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula and anti-terrorism issue, according to Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue.

    "The Taiwan issue will be on the agenda," Zhang particularly mentioned.

    Powell is leaving here for Seoul Monday afternoon to continue his Asia tour. He has paid a visit to Japan before visiting China.

    His China tour is believed to be the most important trip of theAsia tour, and is an important visit to push forward Sino-US relations. Enditem
