GAZA, Oct. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- A pilotless Israeli aircraft fired at least two missiles at a Palestinian security outpost in the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis Sunday night, killing two policemen and wounding some 12 others, witnesses and medics said.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital said the killed were identified Amin al-Jbour and Husam al-Breem.
Two among the injured were in critical conditions, they said, adding the others were wounded moderately.
The reason for the attack was not clear.
Witnesses said that the Israeli air raid came as more than two dozen Israeli army tanks and armored personnel carriers took up positions around settlements in southern Gaza. Enditem |
