GAZA, Oct. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Two Palestinians were killed on Sunday morning
in an Israeli Army airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis,
Palestinian security sources said.
An Israeli Army aircraft launched two missiles on Sunday morningon a group of armed Palestinian militants in Khan Younis, killing two militants and
wounding five others including four bystanders, Palestinian security officials
said.
The militants were members of Saraya al Quds, the armed wing of the Islamic
Jihad (Holy War) movement, said the sources, adding that they attempted to plant
roadside bombs near the fence of the settlement of Nevee Dekalim in southern
Gaza when the Israeli plane identified them and fired two missiles at them.
Palestinian medics of Nasser hospital in Khan Younis confirmed that Ziyad
Abu Mustafa, 27, and Omar Abu Mustafa, 20, who were brothers, were killed in the
airstrike and their bodies were badly burned.
Medics added that five others were rushed to the hospital, one in serious
condition and the other four moderate.
Meanwhile, Israeli military sources said the Israeli forcesidentified six
armed men in Khan Younis and fired missiles at them, hitting three of them.
