GAZA, Oct. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian security sources said on Saturday
that the Israel army has built a lookout tower in the northern part of Netsarim
settlement in southeastern Gaza City.
Witnesses said that Israeli troops stationing around the settlement opened
intensive fire and fired tank shells at Palestinian houses, but no injuries were
reported.
Meanwhile, Ezel Dein al Qassam, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance
Movement (Hamas), said in a leaflet that its militants managed to launch two
rockets at the settlement.
The leaflet added that the attack was in response to Israel's assassination
of deputy chief of al Qassam, Adnan al-Ghoul, in an airstrike. Enditem
