Susilo orders arrest of most wanted terrorists in 100 days
www.chinaview.cn 2004-10-22 17:40:25

JAKARTA, Oct. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Friday ordered National Police Chief Da'i Bachtiar to arrest the country's two most wanted terrorists, Azahari and Noordin Moh Top, within 100 days

"The president said Noordin and Azahari must be arrested in 100 days," Bahtiar told reporters shortly after a meeting with Susilo at the Merdeka Palace here.

Both Malaysian fugitives are believed to be the masterminds of the Sept. 9 bombing near the Australian embassy here that killed 9 people.

Police believe the two have played key roles in the Bali bombing in Oct. 2002 and the Marriott Hotel bombing last August. Enditem
