| RAMALLAH, Oct. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- The Israeli army arrested some 17 Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank on Tuesday, Palestinian security sources said.
The sources said that the Israeli troops stormed the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank and arrested six Palestinian residents there.
Another Israeli military unit stormed the refugee camp of alDheisha in the city of Bethlehem where they arrested one resident.
In addition, two Palestinians were detained in Tulkarem, five in Azun, near the West Bank city of Qalqilya, and three in Dora, south of Hebron.
The arrested were taken to unknown places, the sources said. Israel claimed that they were all wanted militants. Enditem |
