Jihad leader's brother dies of wounds in Rafah

   GAZA, Oct. 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian medics reported on Mondaythat a brother of the leader of Saraya al Quds, the armed wing ofIslamic Jihad movement in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah,died Sunday of his wounds sustained a week ago.   Mahmoud Elsheikh Khalil, the brother of Saraya's leader MohammedElsheikh Khalil, was seriously wounded a week ago when an Israelihelicopter shelled the refugee camp of Yebna in Rafah in an attemptto kill Mohammed.

   Meanwhile, Palestinian sources said that the Israeliassassination attempt was not the first one on Mohammed, who hadmanaged to survive two assassinations before, and this time theIsraelis missed their target but they managed to kill one of hisbrothers and wound seriously the other.

   The medics said that the leader's two brothers were seriouslywounded by 70 percent of burnings when they arrived at thehospital, where one of them died after six days and the other isstill in the intensive care.  Enditem
