BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Rumors are rife that Hollywood¡¯s favorite couple, Bard Pitt and Jennifer Anniston, are nearly on the verge of splitting up because of Pitt¡¯s closeness to his Mr and Mrs Smith costar Angelina Jolie.

According to the News of the World, the couple, who have been married since the past four years and have been voted the sexist couple, have not been talking or spending time with each other since quite a few months.

They have also reportedly appeared at several public events separately. Brad first met Jolie when they started shooting for Mr and Mrs Smith earlier this year and stayed in connecting rooms while shooting for the movie.

¡°Brad and Jennifer have been through rough times before ¡ª but never anything like this. All their friends are concerned about whether they can make their marriage work for them again. At the moment it¡¯s not looking good,¡± the report quoted an insider as saying.

Pitt¡¯s spokesperson had earlier denied the rumors.
