GAZA, Oct. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- An Israeli unmanned reconnaissance drone fired on Sunday night one missile at a group of Palestinian militants in the Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza, wounding three people, witnesses said.

The witnesses said that the Israeli soldiers stationed ineastern Jabalya opened fire at rescuers who were trying to pick up the injured.

One Palestinian teacher was killed earlier Sunday as an Israeli F16 warplane fired a missile at eastern Jabalya. Another Palestinian died of his wounds.

The Israeli army has carried out a large-scale military operation code-named Days of Penitence in northern Gaza since Sept.29.

An official report issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 115 Palestinians had been killed in the 12-day-oldoffensive.

The report said that more than 40 among those killed were children.  Enditem
