GAZA, Oct. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- One Palestinian was killed as an
Israeli unmanned reconnaissance drone fired on Saturday night one missile in
eastern Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza, local medics and witnesses
reported.
They said that the missile was fired at a
group of militants gathered in al Sekka neighborhood in eastern Jabalya and a
huge explosion and screams of people were heard in the area.
Medics at Kamal Odwan Hospital said that the man's
characteristics were hard to be recognized as the body was totally damaged by
the missile that was fired at the group that gathered in the area.
Earlier on Saturday, eight Palestinians were killed and more
than 10 people were injured in northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun and
Jabalya refugee camp.
Since the beginning of the Israeli large-scale offensive in
northern Gaza Strip on Sept. 28, more than 100 Palestinians were killed and at
