Australian voters begin to cast votes

    CANBERRA, Oct. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Voting of Australia's federal election started in the island state of Tasmania on Saturday morning.

    Voters nationwide will choose candidates for all 150 seats in the House of Representatives and half of the 76 seats in the Senate.

    The party or coalition which wins more than half of the seats in the House of Representatives will form the new government. Enditem
