"Boy Plays Flute" arrives in Beijing

     BEIJING, Oct.8 (Xinhuanet) -- Impressionist painter Manet's famous "Boy Plays Flute" has been carefully set up at the China Art Gallery in Beijing.

  ;  "Boy Plays Flute" has an estimated value of 800 million yuan, or about 100 million US dollars, and great care has been taken to ensure its safety while in China, China Radio International reported Thursday.

    The painting will form the centerpiece of a French impressionist painting exhibition which opens on Sunday.

    Some 51 masterpieces will be shown at the exhibition, which will be  the  largest of its kind in China. Enditem
