Hu Jintao congratulates Indonesia's new president

    BEIJING, Oct. 5 (Xinhuanet) --Chinese President Hu Jintao sent a congratulatory message Monday to Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who waselected Indonesia's new president.

    In the message, Hu expressed his sincere congratulation to Yudhoyono and voiced his belief that the Indonesian people will make new achievements in building their country under the leadership of the new president.

    "I will work with you to advance the good-neighborly relationship of all-round cooperation and mutual trust between ourtwo countries," Hu said.

    The General Elections Commission of Indonesia announced Monday the result of the presidential election, which confirmed the victory of Yudhoyono, a retired army general. Enditem
