PARIS, Sept. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- France called on Israel and Palestine to break
violence spiral on Thursday, condemning Israeli army's incursion into the Gaza
Strip and Palestinians' launching rockets at Israel.
Paris "condemns Israeli army's incursion into the Gaza Strip, which killed
at least 10 Palestinians, including three children," French Foreign Ministry's
spokeswoman Cecile Pozzo di Borgo told anews conference.
She also "strongly condemned the launching of rockets that killed two
Israeli children in the village of Sderot."
"Terrorism is unacceptable and can not be justified," she added.
France called on Israeli authorities for restraint and dialoguewith
Palestine, urging the Palestinian Authority to pursue the criminals, in
accordance with their commitments in the framework of the road map.
A total of 13 Palestinians and three Israelis, including a soldier, were
killed Thursday in northern Gaza, where Israeli armywidened operation to prevent
Palestinian militants from launching homemade rockets at Israel.
Palestinian militants fired Wednesday three homemade rockets ata
residential building in Sderot, killing two Israeli children andwounding 31
others. Radical group Hamas claimed responsibility forthe attack. Enditem
