KIGALI, Sept. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Rwandan President Paul Kagame brought four new faces into the cabinet during a reshuffle, a statement from the President's Office announced here Wednesday.
Evariste Bizimana for infrastructure and Joseph Habineza for youth, culture and sports have joined the cabinet as full ministers, while Daphrose Gahakwa and Anastse Murekezi have joinedas state ministers for agriculture and gender, respectively.
The changes have seen several ministers get new portfolios, including Protais Musoni for local government, community development and social affairs, Jean Damascene Ntawukuriryayo for health and, Christophe Bazivamo for internal security. Several ministers and state ministers retain their portfolios.
One of the dropped ministers, Ephraim Kabaija, has been appointed the director of cabinet, a post that has been vacant forlong.
Kagame's government is one year old since the multiparty elections were held in August 2003. Enditem
