BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Britney spears would like to have a baby with Kevin Federline next year, she has revealed.

A source close to the singer said: ¡°Britney has told only her family and closest circle that she is pregnant.¡±

The pregnancy, which Spears, 22, has privately admitted, is a dream come true, and marks the end of a turbulent year for the pop star.

Spears is also considering taking Kevin¡¯s name. She commented: ¡°Britney Federline ¡ª I like that.¡±

She told People magazine that she decided to marry Federline earlier than expected to throw the press off the scent ¡ª even though they didn¡¯t have a marriage licence.

¡°I was like, ¡®What are we waiting for¹Ò¡¯¡± she explained. ¡°We know this is the real thing ¡ª why not just do it now¹Ò¡±

When asked if she was pregnant, Britney answered: ¡°No, not that I know of. But next year, I am so there.¡±

On Monday the source said: ¡°Britney only learned she was expecting recently and she¡¯s less than eight weeks pregnant. It¡¯s why she pulled her wedding date forward to September.¡±
