spokesman for the International Atomic Energy Agency, announded the decision on
Saturday, China Radio International reported Sunday.
But a Vienna-based diplomat says there is no proof of any contamination
from the Dimona plant.
Jordan said in August it was preparing to invite UN experts from the IAEA
to carry out independent surveys in the kingdom to eliminate any fear of
contamination from the Dimona plant.
Israel's first nuclear scientist, Mordechai Vanunu, once warned that the
plant could become "a second Chernobyl".
The IAEA says it's had no similar request from Israel.
