Urgent: India, Pakistan agrees to normalize ties through dialogue

    NEW YORK, Sept. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf agreed here on Friday to normalize their long-strained bilateral relations through continued dialogue.

    A joint statement issued after the first meeting between the two leaders said they also discussed the possibility of a gas pipeline via Pakistan to India. Enditem
