LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- US pop singer has married with her fiance dancer Kevin Federline in a surprise private ceremony in Los Angeles, local media reported Sunday.

Spears, 22, and Federline, 26, surprised their parents with the unexpected ceremony which took place Saturday night in a private residence in Studio City, according to Paramount entertainment TV Entertainment Tonight.

The bride wore a white strapless dress and Kevin donned a tuxedo as the two exchanged vows during a non-denominational ceremony. Twenty to thirty guests were on-hand for the event, which took place at a private home, the report said.

Afterwards, everyone dined on a feast of chicken fingers and ribs while music played from a boom box.

Marrying Federline makes Britney more than a new wife, she is also now step-mother to Federline 's two children, one 2-year-old and one newborn baby, with "Moesha" actress Shar Jackson.

This was the second time that Spears got married this year. On Jan. 2, Spears married high school sweetheart Jason Alexander in an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas. But the ill-fated marriage was annulled on Jan. 5.

Federline has appeared in the movie "You Got Served" and performed as a backup dancer for Spears' ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Enditem
