HAVANA, Sept. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- The death toll from Tropical Storm"Jeanne" has risen to some 556 in Haiti, the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) announced on Monday.

    The deaths of some 500 people were reported in the northern town of Gonaives, and 56 were killed in northwestern town of Port de Paix, reports here quoted MINUSTAH spokesman Toussaint Kongo-Doudou as saying. Enditem
