GAZA, Sept. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- A senior leader of the Islamic Jihad (Holy War) said Monday that a high-ranking delegation of the movement will start dialogue with Egyptians in Cairo on Tuesday.
Mohamed al-Hindi said in a statement that the dialogue will discuss three major points, namely reforms, protecting the Palestinian unity and an expected Israeli pullout from Gaza.
Hindi clarified that the Cairo dialogue set up the base for a comprehensive dialogue among all Palestinian factions to confront Israel's escalation against the Palestinian refugee camps and cities.
"Until now, the Egyptian attitude is positive and focused on unifying the Palestinian territories that were occupied in 1967, and also on the full pullout from Gaza," said Hindi.
He added that Egypt is trying to help the Palestinians "to put an agenda on joining all the Palestinian factions into one unified national leadership." Enditem |
