JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- A South African plane with six people aboard was involved in an accident before landing at anairport in Zambia, the South African Press Association (SAPA) reported on Thursday.
No details were given immediately about how serious the accident was and if there were any casualties.
The director of Zambia's Civil Aviation, surnamed Kabalika, was quoted as saying that the tourist charter plane had been involved in the same kind of accident before landing at Livingstone airport.
"Our air traffic control received information that the chartered plane was experiencing engine problems, he said, adding that a helicopters has gone to the scene to investigate.
The plane was carrying one crew member and five passengers, he said. Enditem
