ˇˇGAZA, Sept. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Four Palestinians, including two
children, a woman and an old man were injured on Tuesday by Israeli troops'
gunfire in the southern Gaza Strip town of Kahn Younis,local medics said.
They said that one of the four wounded is a 13-year-old Palestinian schoolgirl who was shot
in the head as she was inside her school.
Palestinian residents and security sources noted that Israeli troops
stationed around the Jewish settlement of Neveh Dekalim opened intensive
haphazard gunfire at the western area of Khan Younis and wounded the four
civilians.
Meanwhile, the residents said that they saw dozens of tanks and armor
personnel carriers near the settlements, while Apache helicopters hovered over
the Gaza Strip in fear Palestinian militants carry out attacks against the
settlements.
Earlier at Midnight Monday, Israeli Apache helicopters
fired at midnight about five missiles at a playground, where there is a summer
camp for Hamas, killing 14 people and wounding 24 others. Palestinian security
sources asserted that the Israeli army tightened its siege and security measures
imposed on the Gaza Strip, adding that the Israeli army cut the Gaza Strip into
