GAZA, Sept. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Fatah movement chaired by Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat condemned Tuesday the Israeli airstrike on a Hamas summer camp in eastern Gaza at Monday midnight, which killed 14 Palestinians.

The movement warned in a leaflet the Israeli government of what it called "the negative outcomes" after the strike, adding "violence can only generate violence and blood brings only blood." Fatah said Israel is fully responsible for the security deterioration in the region, and "Israel in purpose tries to block political progress and moves that are aimed at getting the area outof the cycle of violence."

"This serious Israeli aggression and military escalation is a clear evidence to the world and the world's public opinion that Israel is just a war government that consists of a group of failed ministers who are thirsty for blood," it said.

Fatah called on the international community and human rights organizations to condemn such "awful crimes committed by the Israeli government and its forces." Enditem
