RAMALLAH, Sept. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- A senior Palestinian official said Sunday the Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) and the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) have been engaged in a dialogue to unite the two groups.

Kais Abed al-Kareem, a leader of the DFLP, said that the dialogue was to find a suitable formula to merge the two fronts, adding that there was continuous coordination to solve related problems.

The two fronts were mulling a unity policy, Kareem said.

Meanwhile the DFLP has called upon its supporters to take part in the voters registration for the upcoming general elections in the Palestinian territories.  Enditem
