BEIJING, Sept. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- Software giant Apple Computer has unveiled its new iMac desktop computer, which integrates all disk drives and processors into a flat display.

    With a complete computer system, including the hard drive, processor and DVD drive, the iMac G5 is only about two inches deep and debuts as the world's thinnest desktop computer.

    Apple says shipping will begin in mid-September. The computer will be available in versions with a 17-inch and a 20-inch display, plus a wireless keyboard and mouse.

    The new model, designed by the same team that developed the iPod portable music player, works on G5 microprocessors.
