GAZA, Aug. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Saraya al Quds, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad (Holy War)movement, claimed responsibility on Tuesdayfor attacking by homemade rockets a Jewish settlement west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

    The group said in a leaflet that its militants fired two homemade rockets at the Jewish settlement of Neveh Dekalim west of Khan Younis.

    The leaflet said that the attack is part of the Palestinian militant groups' response to "the daily crimes and massacres the Israeli occupation forces are carrying out against our people in the towns and villages."

    The group vowed that it will continue its attacks against the Israeli army and the Jewish settlements "until they pullout from the Palestinian territories and release all prisoners in Israeli jails." Enditem
