GAZA, Aug. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Chief of the Palestinian terminals andcrossings in the Gaza Strip announced Tuesday that Israel has imposed new conditions on Palestinian travelers who leave the Gaza Strip.
Salim Abu Safeya told reporters that Israel has been banning Palestinians aged from 15 to 35 from leaving the Gaza Strip to go abroad, but now allowed their travel with conditions that a list oftheir names must be presented before they leave.
The Palestinian side is rejecting the Israeli request to make anin advance coordination for the travelers who want to cross the Rafah terminal, the only opened terminal between southern Gaza Strip and Egypt, said the official.
By preventing Palestinians aged from 15 to 35 from traveling abroad for several months, Israel has blocked hundreds of Palestinian young men, business men and students whose foreign interests were damaged.
"These measures are aiming at blackmailing the Palestinian people and their Palestinian National Authority (PNA)," denounced Abu Safeya. Enditem
