HONG KONG, Aug. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Hong Kong residents will have chances to learn Chinese Kung Fu craft here from the China's famed Shaolin Temple, which was considered as cradle of Chinese Kung fu.

According to Hong Kong Culture Association on Monday, the Hong Kong Shaolin Kung Fu and Culture Center, which were laid a foundation in a secluded corner of Hong Kong yesterday, will offer courses on the Shaolin martial arts texts "Yi Jin Jing" and "Xi Sui Jing", which consist of 162 moves that improve muscle and bone flexibility and are believed to cleanse bone marrow.

Students will live the same isolated existence as Shaolin monks in a planned 2,700 square-meter (30,000 square-foot) campus, which was due to complete by the end of 2005.

The original Shaolin Temple, built in 496 in the mountains of China's central Henan province, is considered one of the birthplaces of Chinese Kung Fu. Enditem
