    ATHENS, Aug. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Russian star wrestler Buvaysa Saytiev, a five-time world champion, eased to win the men's 74kg freestyle Olympic gold here Sunday afternoon.

    Saytiev, 29, the gold medalist of the Atlanta Olympics, routed Gennadiy Laliyev from Kazakhstan, bronze medalist of the Sydney Olympics, 7-0 in the final.

    Saytiev had also been crowned as European champion in 2000 and 2001. He was named the Freestyle Wrestler of the Year by the International Wrestling Federation in 1996 and 1998.

    Cuban Ivan Fundora, the twice Pan American champion in 2003 and2004, beat Krystian Brzozowski from Poland, who finished fourth inthe 2004 European Championships, 3-1 to take the bronze. Enditem
