Edmund Ho Hau Wah wins election for second term

    MACAO, Aug. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Edmund Ho Hau Wah won the election for Macao's second chief executive with 296 votes in favor and three abstentions from a total of 299 members of the 300-strong Election Committee Sunday morning.

    The result was announced by Jose Chu, chairman of the Electoral Affairs Committee after supervising the counting of the anonymous ballot. Enditem
