    ATHENS, Aug. 27 (Xinhuanet) -- David Cal of Spain took the gold medal of men's C1 1,000 meters in a time of 3 minutes 46.201 seconds at the Athens Olympic Games on Friday.

    The silver medal was taken by Andreas Dittmer of Germany at 3:46.721, followed by Attila Vajda of Hungary in the third place at 3:49.025. Enditem
