     ATHENS, Aug. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- The Chinese women's volleyball team outlasted a tough Cuban squad, advancing to the final with a five-set semifinal victory at the Athens Olympic Games here Thursday evening.

    The victory put the Chinese into their first Olympic final berth in eight years since 1996, where they finished second behind Cuba.
