Italy says troops to stay in Iraq despite hostage threat

     ROME, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Italian government said Tuesday it would keep its 3,000 troops in Iraq despite an ultimatum from an Iraqi militant group saying it would kill an Italian hostage ifItaly did not quit the country within 48 hours.
