     ATHENS, Aug. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Sarah Ulmer of New Zealand broke her own world record to win the women's 3,000m individual gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games here Sunday afternoon.

    Ulmer clocked in 3:24.537, breaking her own world record of 3:26.40 set up on Friday. Australian Katie Mactier finished second.Enditem
