Teenager arrested under anti-terror laws in England

     LONDON, Aug. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- A 19-year-old man was arrested Thursday in Birmingham, central England under the Terrorism Act, police said.

    The man, who has not yet been named, was arrested at 0300 GMT and is currently being questioned by the police.

    Two other men, aged 24 and 26, were arrested on immigration charges at the same time. The nationalities of the three men were not immediately known.

    The arrest came a day after eight British terror suspects appeared in court charged with plotting attacks on financial targets in New York, New Jersey and Washington.

    An anti-terror police spokesman said the teenager's arrest was not related to the eight. Enditem
