    ATHENS, Aug. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Everybody knows the American "Dream Team" has to end, but nobody expected such a humiliating ending for the American men cagers at the Athens Olympic Games here Sunday evening.

    Trailing 49-27 at the half time, the Dream Team, consisted of NBA stars, suffered its very first defeat at the Olympics to Puerto Rico 92-73, breaking records of the lowest scoring and largest trailing margin of Dream Team at the Olympics.

    Overwhelmed by the Puerto Ricans, who made sharp shots, clever assists, fantastic steals to win tides of applauses from the stands, the NBA stars saw the 24-game winning streak of the Dream Team at the Olympics snapped.
