กก GAZA, Aug. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat would deliver an important speech peace process and internal issues before the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) on Wednesday, a senior Palestinian official said Sunday.

Arafat's top aide Nabil Abu Rudeineh described the speech as "important", saying that its importance stemmed from the fact that it had a united language for the entire Palestinian National Authority (PNA).

He said that Arafat "would focus in his speech on the presented Egyptian plan, the resumption of the peace process, the implementation of the Palestinian reforms and other internal issues."

"The President will discuss in his speech every thing happened concerning the internal Palestinian crisis and will talk about our plans in the future," Abu Rudeineh added.

On the other hand, Abu Rudeineh slammed the recent Israeli military operations as an escalation, adding that it "is an Israeli message to the Palestinians and to the Arab Nation".

"It's impossible for Israel to make the Palestinian people kneel, and the Palestinians will not accept the Israeli conditions that they do not agree upon," he noted.

Abu Rudeineh stressed that the road for security, peace and settlement will be only through negotiation with the Palestinians and their elected leadership.

"If Israel continues its military operations and refuses to be committed to the peace process conditions and the signed agreements, it means that Israel will put itself and the whole areain an endless crisis," said Abu Rudeineh. Enditem
