      ATHENS, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Australia won the women's 4x100m freestyle gold in a new world record time of 3:35.94 at the AthensOlympic Games here on Saturday.

    They beat the previous world standard of 3:36.00 set by Germanyon July 29, 2002.

    The United States picked the silver in 3:36.39 and the Netherlands got the bronze in 3:37.59. Enditem
