VIENNA, July 28 (Xinhuanet) -- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said here Wednesday it would submit a new report on Iran's nuclear program to its board of governors meeting in early September.

Melissa Fleming, a spokeswoman of the UN agency, expressed hopein a press release that some ambiguities over the nature of Iran'snuclear program will be clarified in the IAEA's new report.

The next meeting of the IAEA's board of governors, aimed at discussing Iran's nuclear program, will be held on Sept. 13 in Vienna.

However, she declined to comment on some western media reports alleging that Iran has resumed manufacture of centrifuges. "We will always remain neutral," she said.

On Tuesday, some western media, quoting Vienna-based western diplomats, reported that Iran has broken the UN nuclear watchdog'sseals on centrifuge equipment and resumed building the devices, which are key to making nuclear weapons.

Iran has always denied such accusations and repeatedly confirmed that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes. Enditem
