BELGRADE, July 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Bosnian Minister of Defense Nikola Radovanovic announced Wednesday that his country will send 36 peacekeeping troops to Iraq by the end of 2004.

According to the Tanjug news agency, the troops are volunteer de-mining experts recruited from the Serbia Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation.

The Bosnian peacekeeping operation in Iraq is expected to cost around 2.5 million euros (3 million US dollars) annually, half of the cost being covered by the United States. Enditem
