GAZA, July 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Saraya al Quds, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad (Holy War) claimed responsibility on Saturday for homemade rockets attack on the Jewish Kibbutz of Nahal Ozz east ofthe Gaza City.

The group said in a leaflet sent to reporters that at predawn on Saturday the Saraya militants attacked the Kibbutz with three "Quds1" homemade rockets and returned back safe to their bases.

According to the leaflet, the attack "is coming as parts of the attacks that are carried out by the Islamic Jihad in response tothe daily crimes carried out by the enemy against our people."

It said that the attack was also a reaction to the assassination of two of Jihad militants by Israeli Apache helicopters' missiles in Gaza City on Thursday night.

"The assassinations and demolitions of houses would never stopour attacks against the occupiers," said the group, adding that "the attacks would continue as long as the occupation is there." Enditem
