Whitney Houston to reach Beijing tomorrow
www.chinaview.cn 2004-07-23 08:44:23

BEIJING, July 23 (Xinhuanet) -- American singer and actress Whitney Houston is to arrive in Beijing for her concert to be held this Sunday.

The sponsor says if it rains on Sunday, they will give out disposable raincoats for free. And if the rain becomes a storm and affects the opening, the performance will be delayed for 30 minutes, reported CRIENGLISH.com.

If the rain continues after 30 minutes, the performance will be cancelled and the tickets will be refunded.

40-year-old Houston is widely known in China for her rendition of "I Will Always Love You" from the 1992 movie "Bodyguard," in which she starred with Kevin Costner.

Sources with her music company BMG say that the six-time Grammy winner will review most of her classics at the Beijing concert to celebrate her Chinese fans.
