BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhuanet) -- China treasures the
Sino-Vietnamese traditional friendship and will work with Vietnam to
continuously promote the sound and steady growth of bilateral relations, aiming
at building a good neighborhood, friendship, comrade relationship and
partnership, said Chinese Vice-Premier Huang Ju here Wednesday.
Huang, also standing committee member of the
Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made
the remarks at a meeting with Truong Tan Sang, member of the PoliticalBureau of
the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and director of the CPV
Central Committee's Economic Commission.
Huang said the relations between the two parties and
the two countries, under the guidance of the principles of building long-term,
steady and future-oriented good-neighborly friendship and overall cooperation,
have witnessed all-round development in recent years.
He pointed to the frequent exchanges of high-level
visits between the two sides, which he said have become an important impetus and
guarantee for the advancement of bilateral relations, and expanding bilateral
cooperation in such fields as politics, economy and exchanges between border
areas and youth.
Truong Tan Sang spoke highly of China's achievements
and the positive results of the exchanges and cooperation between the two
parties.
He said he hoped that both sides will implement the
consensus reached between leaders of the two parties and further learn from each
other's ruling experiences so as to promote their economic development and
bilateral friendship and cooperation.
Truong Tan Sang and his delegation, who arrived here
Tuesday afternoon on a 10-day visit to China, will also visit Shanghai in east
