    BAGHDAD, July 20 (Xinhuanet) -- A Filipino truck driver held hostage in Iraq has been freed, the Dubai-based Al-Arabiya television reported Tuesday, citing sources in the Iraqi National Congress.

    The report did not give any other details on the reported release of 46-year-old truck driver Angelo de la Cruz.

    On Monday, the Philippines withdrew the last of its troops from Iraq as demanded by the kidnappers to save the life of de la Cruz. Enditem
