Urgent: Sharon, Peres spar on coalition government talks

   JERUSALEM, July 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Labor Party Chairman Shimon Peres spared on unity government talks during a meeting on Sunday morning, the Ha'aretz daily reported.

   During the meeting, the prime minister rejected a demand by Peres that Labor negotiators in upcoming unity talks be empowered to demand changes in the present government's basic policy guidelines.  Enditem
