Mosul governor killed

    BAGHDAD, July 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Insurgents killed the governor of Mosul on Wednesday while he was traveling from this northern Iraqi city to Baghdad.

    Attackers approached the convoy of Gov. Youssef Kashmola about 100 kilometers south of Mosul, an Iraqi Interior Ministry official said on condition of anonymity. Enditem
