    GAZA, July 5 (Xinhuanet) -- A special Israeli force raided on Monday the West Bank city of Jenin and shot dead a Palestinian militant in an exchange of fire, Palestinian witnesses and medics reported.

    They said that Khaled al Hawee, 24, a member of al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades was shot dead in a clash with Israeli soldiers after they stormed his house.

    Palestinian witnesses said that the Israeli soldiers entered into Jenin and raided one of its neighborhoods before they clashed with al Hawee.

    The soldiers prevented Palestinian ambulances from reaching the place, where the militant body was on the ground, the witnesses said, adding that the Israeli army were backed by Apache attack helicopters. Enditem
