Two Palestinians die of wounds in Gaza, West Bank

    GAZA, July 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Two Palestinians died of their wounds on Saturday in Gaza and the West Bank respectively, Palestinian medical sources said.

    Yousef Nasrallah died of his wounds sustained in May when the Israeli army carried out a widespread military operation in the Zaytoon neighborhood in southern Gaza City, the sources said.

    Nasrallah was shot with several gunshots all over his body, thesources added.

    Six Israeli soldiers were killed during the operation into Zaytoon. At least 17 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured.

    Meanwhile, a 6-year-old boy died of his wounds he sustained 5days ago when an explosive device blew up while he was playing in the West Bank town of Jenin, the sources said.

    Tareq Ghannam was seriously injured and his brother was killed in the blast, they said. Enditem
